Education Research

At Prayoga Institute of Education Research, rigorous, data-driven research and experiential learning models are shaping scalable solutions for the Indian education ecosystem.

Prayoga's Education Research examines the role of experiential learning as a pedagogy on the competencies of learners, developing robust and field-tested resources to enable inquiry-based learning. Ongoing programmes incorporate a research structure to evaluate the impact of experiential learning on the development of capabilities. Our research is rigorous and data-driven, providing valuable insights and developing implementable solutions with open-source courseware, materials, and adaptable learning resources.

Is Maths really harder for girls?
Is that just something we’ve been told?

Prayoga’s education research team studied 2,023 students from government and rural schools across 35 districts to understand how children actually perform in mathematics. The findings were clear: gender does not determine mathematical ability. Girls performed on par with and in many areas slightly better than boys across key mathematical skills.
