Biography
Pooja V. Domanekar is a Research Associate at Prayoga, focusing on electromagnetic interference shielding, nanomaterials (specifically ferrites), and piezoelectric materials. She completed her Pre-University Course (PUC) at Junior PU College in Sagara, Shimoga District, before pursuing her undergraduate studies in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) at LB and SBS College in Sagara, affiliated with Kuvempu University. Pooja graduated with a Master’s degree in Physics from Kuvempu University Campus in Shankaraghatta, Shimoga District. During her master's studies, she conducted research on the synthesis and characterization of cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4) nanoparticles, utilizing combustion methods to optimize the production process. Her work also involved investigating the structural and dielectric properties of these nanomaterials and assessing their potential applications in various electronic devices. Her hobbies include drawing mandala art and creating 3D pencil sketches, reading novels, and writing blogs about integrating physics in the classroom to spark student curiosity and interest.
