Swetha N
Research Associate
Swetha N is a Research Associate at Prayoga, specializing in nanomaterials for applications in catalysis, sustainable electronics, and water treatment. She completed her Master's in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the University of Madras in 2020, where she extensively focused on nano-catalysis during her project and internship. Swetha earned her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from JSS University, where she participated in mushroom cultivation as part of an extended research activity. Her experience includes synthesizing various metal oxide nanoparticles using techniques such as sonochemical, hydrothermal, and microwave methods. During her internship, she synthesized doped metal oxide nanoparticles for water-splitting reactions and developed mesoporous silica-based catalysts for selective hydrogenation in her Master's thesis. Throughout her studies, she cultivated an interest in bandgap engineering and crystallography. Additionally, Swetha gained industrial research experience at a food manufacturing unit, working on increasing the shelf life of food products and participating in lean six sigma projects. In her leisure time, she enjoys listening to music and is focused on setting physical fitness goals.
