Dr. Harshavardhana Y is a Senior Faculty - Biochemistry at Prayoga. He earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from IISc, Bengaluru (2016), focusing on Nucleoid-Associated Proteins (NAPs) in Mycobacterium tuberculosis and their role in DNA recombination, repair, and chromosome architecture. With over five years of teaching experience, he has served as a Faculty at Bengaluru City University, a Guest Lecturer at IBAB, and an Assistant Professor at Yuvaraja’s College, University of Mysore. His research interests include DNA repair, chromosome architecture, cellular senescence, and evolution. Dr. Harshavardhana has several peer-reviewed publications in renowned journals and has received CSIR-UGC JRF, NET (2008), and GATE-LS (AIR 253, 2010). Beyond academia, he enjoys contemporary figurative arts, art history, and nature walks.
