Lakshmi B M is the Senior Faculty in Teacher Education at Prayoga, bringing a strong background in education and research. She holds a Master’s degree in Microbiology and Education from Bangalore University and has qualified for both UGC-NET and K-SET in Education. Currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Education from the Regional Institute of Education, NCERT, Mysuru, her research focuses on the effectiveness of metacognitive teaching strategies on meta-learning and academic achievement in science at the secondary level. Lakshmi has previously conducted a study on the professional commitment of secondary school teachers in relation to their empowerment during her M.Ed. course. Passionate about education research, particularly in Biology and Chemistry domains, she is dedicated to enhancing teaching methodologies. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and traveling, which further enrich her perspective on education and learning.
